In a protected area subject to Bâtiments de France, two old houses to be brought together and completely renovated. Previously, the two houses were outbuildings of the Château de Sceaux.

One is reserved for parents and the other for children. The ground floor is common to the entire family and includes the entrance, living room and kitchen. The connection (future entrance space opening onto a pleasant paved courtyard decorated with a majestic fig tree) is made by a simple volume of metal, glass and wood. It is deliberately treated with contemporary architecture so as not to harm the two existing houses to be renovated and therefore maintain their integrity and architectural quality. This connection is very largely glazed to create transparency and showcase this volume space which is intended to be a continuity of the courtyard and play of the interior/exterior. A full-height sliding shutter made of wood and metal slats animates the facade according to its position and also serves as a second security feature in relation to the front door. All the other rooms (living room and kitchen open to the entrance, bedrooms and bathrooms) are treated in a very contemporary way, with a predominance of white, false ceilings and modern furniture but few in number. to enlarge spaces. The kitchen is large and equipped with professional cooking equipment and a large sink carved from a slab of marble.
